Running to Remember Myself

There are races you train for. And there are races you live.

The Binter Palma Night Run 2026 was one of the latter. A 5K that wasn’t looking for records, but for something harder to measure: feeling my own body in motion again, after months of reconstruction, discipline, and purpose.

I started with excitement, yes. But also with something you can’t train for in a gym: that mix of gratitude, vertigo, and pride that appears when you realize you’re not running to win, but to belong to your life again.

🟦 Eat. Lift. Live.

My mantra. My compass. My way of moving through the world.

That mantra that was born as a structure of well‑being has now become something deeper: a declaration of identity, a way of honoring the body I have and the life I am building.

With every kilometer, that motto repeated itself inside me like a pulse:

Eat to nourish, not to fill. Train to strengthen, not to punish. Live to feel, not merely to survive.

🟧 And there she was.

My wife. My anchor. The quiet witness to every step of this journey.

She wasn’t running with me, but she was in every step. In every glance from the sidelines. In every gesture that spoke without words: ‘Keep going. You’ve already come farther than you think.

There are victories that aren’t celebrated on a podium, but in the quiet complicity of the one who stands by you even when you doubt yourself.

🟩 The 5K That Became Something More

It wasn’t just a race. It was a reminder.

That the body returns. That the mind learns. That life, when you listen to it, gives back twice as much.

And that EatLiftLive® isn’t a project, or a brand, or a slogan: it’s the way I’ve chosen to walk — and run — toward what comes next.

🟥 Thank you, Binter Palma Night Run.

For the course. For the energy. For the sense of community. For proving that a 5K can be a celebration of health, identity, and future.

Today I close this entry with the same phrase that stayed with me throughout the entire race:

Eat. Lift. Live. And keep going. Always keep going.
